Who is the course for?
Within our environment are vital services such as
electricity transmission and electrical
infrastructure, gas, communications, water and
sewage. Each service has unique hazards to the
people working on or near them and damage to
these services has an immediate impact on the
community.
These services are not always immediately
identifiable.
Some services such as electrical infrastructure
have defined “NO GO ZONES” where work
cannot be done with out approval. Other
services may have similar restrictions.
This course covers:
1. identifying services and hazards
2. how hazards can be controlled
3. responding to emergencies
