Within our environment are vital services such as electricity transmission and electrical infrastructure, gas, communications, water and sewage.  Each service has unique hazards to the people working on or near them and damage to these services has an immediate impact on the community. These services are not always immediately identifiable.   Some services such as electrical infrastructure have defined “NO GO ZONES”  where work cannot be done with out approval.  Other services may have similar restrictions.   This course covers: 1. identifying services and hazards 2. how hazards can be controlled 3. responding to emergencies
